Domains.co.za is supporting Slipper Day: 10 May!
This Friday 10 May marks the annual celebration of the Reach For A Dream Foundation’s (RFAD) annual Slipper Day. This initiative is aimed at gaining support and awareness for children with life-threatening illnesses in a fun and positive manor: by wearing slippers to work, school etc. Participants can purchase a wristband for R10 at Wimpy, Pick ‘n Pay or Dischem.
The Reach For A Dream Foundation’s main goal is to realise dreams of kids with illnesses such as cancer in an attempt to give them encouragement and hope. The campaign’s slogan of “Not all heroes wear capes” is extremely fitting. In multiple hospitals (and at home) many children are fighting for their lives and are heroes in the hearts of those near to them.
At Domains.co.za, we as a company will be showing our support to this incredible cause on Friday. Not only will we purchase our wristbands and wear our slippers but we will also make it a positive occasion to socialise as a team and broadcast this message of hope even further.
While the hosting and domains industry isn’t generally what most people would classify as the “funnest” or “coolest” sectors around, Team Domains.co.za has overturned this stigma. Our new offices, branded with our unique and creative designs, plus its informal, yet professional layout together with our exceptional team spirit and passion for what we do, make hosting, domain registrations, SSL certificates and the list of related products and services we offer what it should be – ultra modern and unconventional!
As a team we will be wearing our slippers, enjoying a lunch-time braai and get our competitive caps on with a few games and prizes to be won. Don’t forget to purchase your wrist band in support of this great cause!
