Domains.co.za Supports Animal Cruelty Prevention Month
April is the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals month. It is a month to bring extra awareness to the plight of our animal rescue centres and the great work they are doing, as well as to support them whereever possible. It is a never-ending mommoth of a task to take in and care for neglected, abandoned, or lost, animals and they cannot do it alone.
As a domains and hosting company, Domains.co.za is about fast, reliable and secure service and support, but that’s not all we are about. Our branding suggests a bunch of quirky, fun and tech-savvy innovators, and this is of course spot-on. But we also have a lot of heart.
In the past we’ve always tried to pair our passion for cycling (and healthy exercise) with charitable donating by getting involved with the Discovery 947 Ride Joburg. Near and dear to our hearts are children, the elderly or frail, and animals who can’t stand up for themselves.
In light of Prevention of Animal Cruelty Month, Domains.co.za recently delivered 320 kg of dog food to Kitty and Puppy Haven as well as Paws R Us. This charity drive was part of an internal fundraiser among staff and management and included monetary donations to two local children’s shelters (Abraham Kriel Bambanani & Hospice Wits Houghton).
Thank you once again to the Domains.co.za staff for their generous donations.
It’s great to work for a company that cares!
