What is porting?

Porting is the term used when transferring your number from one telephone provider to another provider.
Can I keep my Telkom line?

In most cases, yes. However this will have to be ported to us.
Can I port my number?

Yes, however it would need to be a geographical number i.e 011, 012, 013.
How long does it take to port my number?

Porting a number can take between 14-21 working days, however this may be dependant on your current provider’s timeline for releasing numbers.
Who will set up my Hosted PBX system?

Domains.co.za will set up your system.
What does a fully-managed Hosted PBX system mean?

Whenever a change is required on your Hosted PBX system, we at Domains.co.za will do it for you. All packages include 1 hour maintence per month, which can include upgrades, changes, or edits to the configuration of your Hosted PBX system.
How can I set up an IVR?

We will send you a MS Word document to complete.
How can I make changes to my Hosted PBX system?

Your package includes 1 hour per month of maintenance from Domains.co.za, so we will be happy to make any changes for you. Any extra time that is required shall be billed accordingly.
Can I get access to the system?

No, as a fully-managed system, Domains.co.za will make all the edits that you may require on request, as well as ensuring that the system is up to date.
Are voice recordings part of my package?

Not on the STD (Standard) version, however you can upgrade to the Pro version which includes call recordings and many other features.
How many calls can the solution make at one given time?

The maximum number of calls is based on the number of SIP lines your account has. (EG: If you have a 3 SIP Line account you can receive 3 incoming calls or make 3 outgoing calls at the same time)
How many calls can I make?

The number of concurrent outgoing calls will be directly related to the package, and the number of SIP lines that you want. If you subscribe to a 5 SIP Line package for example, you can make 5 concurrent outgoing calls, or receive 5 concurrent incoming calls.
What is the call quality like?

There should be no issues with call quality, however it the quality is directly related to your internet connection.
What would happen to my Hosted PBX system during load shedding?

Your IVR system is based on our servers at the N+1 Teraco data centre (Isando – Johannesburg), so load shedding will not affect it unless it affects the equipment that you and your staff are running it on. Anyone using a desktop, laptop or mobile device to run the VoIP app on, will be affected by power outages as they usually are, unless they have a power backup supply, or battery life available.
What versions of Hosted PBX are there?

We offer the Standard and Pro versions
Will I miss out on any features that traditional PABX systems have?

We offer the Standard version by default. Should you wish to upgrade to the Pro version (additional cost), you will have access to additional features including the ability to make call recordings and integrations.
What kind of internet connection do I need?

ADSL, Wi-fi or Fibre internet connections are all ideal for VoIP, however please ensure that the speed of these connections is not lower than 400kbps.
I have a call centre, can I use this?

No, this solution is not available to call centres, as it has been specifically designed for the SME marketplace.
What happens if I don't pay my monthly instalment or decide not to renew my contract?

Failure to pay your monthly instalment or deciding not to renew your contract may result in the loss of your number.
