Generate a RapidSSL Certificate Signing Request (CSR)

For Microsoft IIS 6.0 or 7.0 server, or a Red Hat server, RapidSSL has a new Symantec SSL Assistant to assist in automatically generating a CSR and installing the certificate.

Creating a CSR file is the first step in securing your webserver with SSL.
