When it comes to our 2FA security, you can utilize Google Authenticator or similar OTP authenticator applications that can read a QR code.
The process for installing the Google Authenticator App on your Smart Phone/Device would depend on the device you are using.
For Android/Windows Mobile users you would need to access the Google Play Store while for Apple Users, you would need to go to the Apple App Store.
Once Google Authenticator is installed on your Smart Phone/Device, you then need to:
1. Login to your domains.co.za account (https://www.domains.co.za/login) and expand the Account Information dropdown on the Left Menu and click on Security Settings.
2. Click on the button to setup your Two-Factor Authentication and click on the Get Started button to generate your 2FA QR Code.
3. Open Google Authenticator on your Smart Phone/Device and Scan the provided QR Code.
4. Once the Two-Factor authentication has been added to your device, click Confirm.
5. Enter the current displayed 2FA code on the Google Authenticator App and then (again) click Verify.
6. Once you click the Verify Button, 2nd Factor Authentication will be activated on your account.
8. Going forward, to login to your account, you would need to enter your Username and Password as well as the 2FA code displayed in the Google Authenticator, at the time you are signing in.
