domains.co.za / DiaMatrix became the first accredited Registrar on the new ZARC .co.za EPP Platform in September 2011. In February 2012 domains.co.za launched a first-of-its-kind .co.za White Labelled Multi Registrar EPP system. The EPP system is based on international protocols for the creation of Registrars on an EPP platform.
UniForum SA is a non-profit association for developers, vendors, value-added resellers, and end users alike. They promote development of open system technologies and hardware, hold conferences and seminars, and release publications to educate their membership community, and provide leadership in the development of industry standards.
UniForum SA now trades as ZA Registry Consortium and is the sole provider of .co.za domain names and the management thereof.
UniForum was founded by a group of entrepreneurs and engineers in 1981, to provide a forum for those interested in Unix and open systems.
The ZARC embarked on an ambitious project of developing and rolling out a new Registry / Registrar EPP solution in 2010, this EPP solution is in-line with international standards and was launched in September 2011.
