Tracking Tools 

Tracking tools are SEO features for understanding and analysing website traffic and user behaviour. Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Yandex Metrika, and Google Tag Manager are indispensable for monitoring website traffic, engagement, and conversions. To set up tracking tools, follow the steps below.  

Facebook Pixel  

The two options to add a Facebook pixel include: 

1. Using the Analytics tab 

  1. Go to Settings and select Analytics. 
  2. Paste the Facebook Pixel Tracking ID. 
  3. Click Apply. 

2. Using the Pages tab 

  1. Go to Settings and select Pages. 
  2. Choose Scripts. 
  3. Paste the Facebook Pixel code in the Before </head> field. 
  4. Click Apply. 

Google Analytics 

  1. Under Settings, select Analytics. 
  2. Insert the Google Analytics Tracking ID. 
  3. Click Apply. 

Yandex Metrika 

  1. Under Settings, select Analytics. 
  2. Insert the Yandex Metrika Tracking ID. 
  3. Click Apply. 

Google Tag Manager 

  1. Go to Settings and select Pages. 
  2. Choose Scripts. 
  3. Paste the Google Tag Manager code in the Before </head> field. 
  4. Click Apply. 

Sitemap 

Website Builder will automatically generate your Sitemap once you have published your website. 

To find the link to your Sitemap, select Settings and choose Settings from the drop-down menu. Click Analytics, and the link is in the last text block, called Sitemap URL. 

SSL Certificates

  • Title: This is the browser’s tab name for every page. Each page title must be unique and not more than 50-60 characters 
  • Description: A brief mini paragraph about the page’s content, no more than 150-160 characters. 
  • Keywords: These are still used by some search engines, although not by Google. However, adding them is a good way to keep track of the SEO for that page. Ensure you separate each keyword with a comma. 
  • User-friendly URL: The default value is the page name specified in the navigation. Use this if you prefer a custom URL path. 

Custom Meta Tags Integration 

  1. Go to Settings and select Meta. 
  2. Add the Custom meta tags that you want and click Apply. 
  3. Under Settings, select Pages and click SEO. 
  4. Add the page name under User friendly URL.

Ensure you separate the page name words with a hyphen, not a space. You can customise every page name except for the Home Page.

Effective content optimisation is essential for improving your website’s search engine visibility and user experience. This involves crafting compelling titles and subtitles that accurately reflect the content while incorporating relevant keywords to enhance SEO. Ensure you have these elements as part of your content structure: 

  • Titles and subtitles. 
  • Alternative text for images, anchors for elements, etc. 
  • Internal and External Links. 

1. Use H1 Headers and H2 & H3 for subtitles 

  • An H1 Header is used for the page title and is vital for search engines to track. 
  • Each page can have only one H1 Header. 
  • Try to use keywords or phrases in the heading, but don’t overdo it. 
  • Select Text and on the top toolbar choose Edit Text. 
  • Choose the heading type. 
  • Use H2 and H3 for subsections within the content. 

2. Use Alternative Text for images 

  • Ensure that the image file name is correct and represents the image. 
  • Remove all spaces between file name words and substitute with either a hyphen or an underscore. 
  • Add the image to your website page. 
  • On the right-hand side toolbar complete the appropriate Alternative Text. 

3. Add Links 

  1. Highlight text and press the icon in the main toolbar. 
  2. Under Link properties, choose the type of link. 
  3. Click Apply.
