Email delivery times are essential for troubleshooting delayed messages, bounce reports, or spam complaints. cPanel provides a built-in tool called Track Delivery, which allows you to monitor the exact status and timing of sent emails.
This tool helps determine:
- Whether the recipient’s server accepted the email.
- How long it takes for delivery.
- Whether the message was deferred or rejected.
- The SMTP response code returned.

How to Check Email Delivery Times for Addresses
1. Login to your Domains.co.za Account.
2. From the dashboard, open the Manage Services drop-down menu and choose your hosting plan.

3. On the next page, click Manage next to your domain.
4. Under Product Information, click Login next to Control Panel to access cPanel.
5. In cPanel, scroll to the Email section.

6. Click Track Delivery.
7. Enter the full recipient email address.
8. Click Run Report.
9. Review the log entries displayed.
10. Each entry will display:
Date and time sent
Sender address.
Recipient address.
SMTP response.
Delivery duration.
11. If marked Delivered, the recipient server accepted the email.
12. If marked Deferred, the server will retry delivery.
13. If marked Failed, the email was permanently rejected.
Additional Information
- A Delivered status only confirms acceptance by the recipient’s mail server, not inbox placement. Spam filtering occurs after acceptance.
- Temporary delays may occur due to:
- Greylisting.
- IP rate limits.
- DNS misconfiguration.
- Reverse DNS (PTR) mismatch.
- If delivery times are consistently slow:
- Verify SPF and DKIM records.
- Ensure reverse DNS matches the hostname.
- Check for compromised email accounts sending spam.

Login to Domains.co.za Account
1. Go to the Domains.co.za website Account Login page.

2. Enter your Email and Password and click the Sign In button.
3. You will see the Domains.co.za Dashboard, displaying the Manage Account menu on the left and your Account Information, Account Overview and Open Support Tickets on the right.
