Additional Information:

Managing Spam & Other Unwanted Comments

If you start getting Spam Comments on your blog, WordPress offers several ways to manage them. You can mark the comments Spam instead of deleting them. This helps WordPress know what type of comments to flag as spam in the future. Alternatively, you can activate a plugin like Akismet Anti-Spam, which effectively and automatically filters out spam comments.

Final Cleanup

After removing the Sample Content, here are a few more housekeeping steps:

Check the Trash Folder – By clicking Delete Permanently in the Trash section of either Posts or Comments, you can permanently remove Posts and Comments from the Trash.

Update Your Site Title: Go to Settings > General and update your site’s Title and Tagline. WordPress automatically adds Just another WordPress site as its tagline – change this to accurately describe your site and content.

Review & Customize Your Theme: Spend a few minutes reviewing the WordPress Theme settings to ensure your Blog’s design and feel are consistent with your brand.

By cleaning up Sample Content and adjusting these settings, your Blog will be ready to launch with a professional, polished look.
