Additional Information
IMAP vs POP3
IMAP is preferred as it keeps your emails on the server and synchronizes across multiple devices. POP3 downloads emails to your device and typically removes them from the server.
SSL Encryption
If you want to use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) for a secure connection, ensure the SSL checkbox is ticked and use the corresponding port numbers (993 for IMAP with SSL, 995 for POP3 with SSL, and 465 or 587 for SMTP with SSL).
Troubleshooting Tips
If you encounter issues with sending or receiving emails, double-check your server settings, ensure your internet connection is stable, and verify your email password. Updating your iOS or Mail app may also resolve compatibility issues.
