This guide explains how to transfer a domain to Domains.co.za.
A domain transfer allows you to move a domain name from one registrar or provider to another. Transferring your domain to Domains.co.za allows you to manage your DNS, hosting, and related services from a single platform.
Before starting a transfer, ensure the domain is unlocked and that you have access to the domain’s authorisation or EPP code, where applicable.

How to Transfer a Domain
1. Login to the Domains.co.za Customer Portal using your account details.
2. Navigate to the domain transfer section from the main menu.
3. Enter the domain name you wish to transfer.
4. Check whether the domain is eligible for transfer.
5. Add the domain transfer to your cart.
6. Enter the required authorisation or EPP code if prompted.
7. Review the transfer information carefully before proceeding.
8. Complete the checkout and payment process.
9. Approve the transfer request if confirmation emails are sent by your current registrar:
10. The transfer tickets are sent by the registry, not the registrar, to the registrant’s email address (email used to register the domain) when not changed.
NOTE:
only .za domains will need to approve the transfers; international domains work differently, e.g., with .com, once they enter the correct EPP code, they will wait five to seven days for the domain to transfer.
11. Wait for the transfer process to complete successfully.

Login to Domains.co.za Account
1. Go to the Domains.co.za website Account Login page.
2. Enter your Email and Password and click the Sign In button.
3. You will see the Domains.co.za Dashboard, displaying the Manage Account menu on the left and your Account Information, Account Overview and Open Support Tickets on the right.
