The Domains.co.za Suspension Run is an automated Billing Procedure that runs approximately 7 working days after the Invoicing Run. During this grace period, the client will receive a total of 3 (three) Unpaid Account notifications to their chosen means of contact. The Suspension Run will automatically suspend ALL SERVICES related to overdue Unpaid or Shortpaid Invoices. The hosting services will be suspended, this means that your website will NOT BE ONLINE, and any email accounts linked to the hosting service will NOT SEND OR RECEIVE EMAILS. Domain Transfer Lock Explained For all .za Domains

Domains.co.za is the first South Africa registrar to implement Domain Transfer Lock for all .za domains, with effect from 1st April 2025. The range of .za TLD domains includes .co.za, .org.za, .web.za, and .net.za. Transfers for .co.za domains have originally differed from traditional protocols. That said, an update was announced on 31st March 2025 by ZARC, the .za registry, which now allows all .za domains to be transfer-locked, similarly to the international domains transfer locking for e.g. .com and .net.
