Additional Information

  • Email filters only apply to incoming mail and will not affect any messages you send. It is therefore important to carefully review the conditions you create to ensure they do not unintentionally block legitimate communication.
  • When creating multiple filters, remember that filters are processed in order. If two rules conflict, the first matching rule may take priority. For this reason, it is good practice to review all active filters periodically to ensure they remain relevant and functioning correctly.
  • It is also advisable to test each filter after creating it. Send a test email that meets the defined condition and confirm that it is processed according to your selected action.
  • For businesses managing multiple email accounts, global email filters in cPanel may be more efficient than configuring individual filters in each Webmail account.
