How To Configure A Site In WS FTP

This tutorial assumes you already have WS_FTP running on your computer and have not yet connected to a remote hosting server.

1. Click Connections.

2. Click Site Manager.

You can create a folder to save your websites’ logins, which can be useful when you are a web designer or developer with multiple sites, or you have a personal website, as well as a business one

3. Click Create Folder.

4. Enter the New folder name.

5. Now create a site: Select the Folder which you just created and then click Create Site.

6. Enter the New Site name here.

7. Click Next, leave Connection Type as FTP and click Next

8. Enter the Server Address and click Next

9. Enter the User Name and Password and click Next

10. Click Finish to Connect to the site now.

11. If you don’t want to connect now, just Deselect this option.

13. Now let’s disconnect from the server. Click this Disconnect icon.
