This tutorial gives step-by-step instructions on how to setup a POP email on iPad. The common email protocol POP (Post Office Protocol) downloads messages from the mail server to your device. This is ideal for those who prefer to use just one device to access their email.

Additional Information:
POP vs IMAP
POP downloads emails to a single device; if you would rather have your emails sync across all your devices, choose IMAP instead of POP. When you use IMAP, changes you make on your iPad (such as deleting emails) will also appear on other devices.
For people who don’t need to sync emails across several devices, we recommend POP. Every email is downloaded locally, saving you server storage space and enabling offline email access.
Server Settings and SSL
Ensure your email provider has provided you with the correct server information, as the wrong settings can hinder the account’s ability to work. If your email provider supports SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Encryption, turn it on in Settings for safe communication.
POP normally connects over port 995 for SSL connections and port 110 for non-SSL connections. Ensure you type these ports correctly.
